Want a seat at our table? We are looking for a proactive and skilled Solutions Engineer with strong expertise in IT, payments, and Point of Sale (POS) integrations. In this role, you will work closely with new restaurant customers to assess their technical requirements and design tailored solutions for seamless Ziosk deployments. You will create comprehensive installation playbooks, act as a liaison between customers and the software development team and provide both deployment and post-deployment support. This position requires both collaboration and independent problem-solving, with the ability to translate complex technical needs into practical, customer-focused solutions.
The Main Course – Responsibilities
- Partner with new restaurant customers to gather technical requirements for POS, payment processors, and related systems.
- Develop customized installation playbooks that ensure smooth and efficient Ziosk deployments.
- Stay current on Ziosk technologies, including Azure cloud infrastructure, POS integrations, and payment processor solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between customers and the Ziosk software development team to align deployment needs.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges during deployments, ensuring minimal disruption for customers.
- Document best practices, deployment procedures, and lessons learned to improve future rollouts.
- Provide post-deployment support to ensure customers maximize value from Ziosk solutions.
What You Bring to the Table – Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations or solution engineering.
- Proven success in customer-facing roles with technical solution delivery.
- Proven track record in a customer-facing role, ideally working with restaurants or similar businesses.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with experience liaising between customers and technical teams.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results.
