Ziosk is looking a visionary and execution-focused Senior Director of AI & Data Product Strategy to lead the development of our next-generation Customer Experience Management (CXM) and Online Reputation Management (ORM) platform—integrated with AI-powered insights, operational intelligence, and restaurant-centric analytics.
In this cross-functional leadership role, you will define product vision and roadmap, guide UX strategy, and oversee the execution of data products that support both internal operational excellence and restaurant customer growth. You will leverage our proprietary data ecosystem and partner with engineering, data science, and external development teams to deliver scalable, intelligent tools that drive guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and brand performance.
The Main Course – Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Own and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and value proposition for a unified AI-powered CXM/ORM and internal intelligence platform.
- Define business cases and success metrics for restaurant-facing analytics tools, predictive modeling, benchmarking, and operational insights.
- Identify and productize proprietary data assets to improve guest experience, speed of service, staffing efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure delivery of high-impact features.
- Serve as product owner for internal and customer-facing intelligence tools, managing agile workflows, sprint planning, and third-party development efforts.
- AI/ML & Data Integration
- Partner with data science to develop and integrate models including NLP for guest feedback, reputation scoring, behavior prediction, and operational anomaly detection.
- Advocate for ethical AI practices, explainability, and compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Customer Experience & ORM Expertise
- Build differentiators that compete with platforms such as Medallia, Podium, Reputation.com, and Birdeye.
- Integrate best-in-class VOC, sentiment analysis, real-time feedback, and ORM features into a multi-location SaaS environment.
- Go-to-Market Execution
- Define pricing strategies, onboarding journeys, and competitive positioning with Sales and Marketing.
- Develop launch playbooks, sales enablement materials, and strategic account engagement programs.
- UX & Customer Research
- Lead user journey mapping, usability testing, and customer interviews to validate product-market fit and refine platform experiences.
- Market Intelligence
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and technology shifts to inform product strategy and maintain differentiation.
What You Bring To The Table – Qualifications
- 10+ years in product strategy or management, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles within CXM, ORM, analytics, or AI/ML-enabled SaaS.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and key KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, guest satisfaction, labor utilization).
- Experience managing third-party development partners and launching data-rich SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), and AI/ML frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate data and tech into business value.
Preferred:
- Experience in restaurant tech, hospitality, or adjacent verticals.
- Familiarity with CRM/loyalty systems, POS integrations, and real-time feedback solutions.
- Background in data science, engineering, or statistics.
- Knowledge of generative AI applications (e.g., GPT-based assistants).
