About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Consultant (Business Execution Consultant) to join our Business Development team within Cards and Personal Loans. This individual will support the team in the identification, negotiation, and execution of external partnerships in support of business priorities, with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services.


In this role, you will:

  • Conduct market and competitor research to help identify potential business development and partnership opportunities across Cards and Personal Loans

  • Support collaboration with business leadership and cross-functional partners to align partnership opportunities to business-defined priorities and strategies, with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services

  • Assist in preparing clear, compelling outreach and pitch materials to prospective partners

  • Support partnership discussions and negotiations by helping develop business cases, deal constructs, and preliminary financial analyses

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support partnership hand-offs following deal approval

  • Assist with governance, risk, and control activities related to partnership evaluation, approval, and execution


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, or product management

  • Familiarity with credit card economics and the broader ecosystem of issuers, networks, fintechs, and merchants


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
