About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant for Business Banking. This individual contributor role provides enterprise level leadership for Sales Planning & Enablement across Business Banking. This role will translate strategy into disciplined execution, bring clarity to ambiguity, and ensure the operational readiness and resiliency of customer-facing sales teams. Operating as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while driving strong governance, risk oversight, and business continuity across the Business Banking sales ecosystem.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead and govern the end-to-end Sales Planning & Enablement operating model, ensuring consistent execution, adoption routines, and behavior reinforcement across sales teams.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to executive and line leaders by synthesizing complex inputs into clear insights, priorities, and executive ready recommendations that drive growth and productivity outcomes.
  • Own execution governance (e.g., OKRs, operating cadence, roadmaps), driving accountability, transparency, and performance discipline across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure frontline readiness and uninterrupted sales activity by overseeing critical enablement functions, including telephony readiness, system access and entitlements, officer codes, portfolio and branch alignment, and customer transfer coordination.
  • Own business continuity and resiliency readiness for Sales Planning & Enablement, partnering with Risk, Operations, and Technology to ensure controls, response plans, and operating readiness are established and effective.
  • Represent Sales Planning & Enablement in risk and control activities (e.g., risk reviews, process mapping, RCSA), ensuring execution practices meet policy, control, and sustainability expectations.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in business execution, sales planning & enablement, strategy, or operations, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-level operating models for sales execution, driving consistent adoption, accountability, and performance across frontline teams
  • Strong track record serving as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leaders, translating complex strategies, data, and inputs into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
  • Demonstrated expertise in execution governance, including OKRs/KPIs, operating cadence, roadmaps, and cross-functional performance management
  • Deep understanding of frontline sales readiness and enablement, including systems access and entitlements, telephony, portfolios, branch alignment, and customer transfer processes
  • Experience owning or partnering on risk management, controls, and business continuity, including risk reviews, RCSA, process mapping, and operational resiliency planning
