About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager for the Originations Credit Strategy and Analytics group in Auto. This individual will lead a team responsible for managing credit strategy, ensuring optimization, governance and alignment with enterprise risk processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and/or managers to enhance business management and execute on key initiatives
  • Determine appropriate strategy to plan, coordinate, and execute credit and origination strategy projects, and manage monitoring and reporting of these strategies
  • Solve problems using technical, data and business knowledge
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to provide strategic consultation
  • Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo governance regulations, policies and compliance requirements
  • Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Manage the domestic components, process, and integration activities while collaborating with onshore offshore teams; define and maintain the domestic/offshore engagement model

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of financial services industry, preferably within the Auto industry
  • 5+ years of Data Analytics experience, preferably within the financial services industry
  • A Master's degree or higher
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly recognize and resolve problems and get to the root cause with the ability to create immediate tactical and strategic solutions
  • Advanced software engineering/programming skills to directly interrogate data in support of requirement definitions, conceptual designs, and data quality assurance
  • Strategic leadership experience creating and achieving a desired future state vision through influence on individual and group goals, reinforcements and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong ability to effectively evaluate and prioritize work
  • Experience performing complex data analysis and developing operational reporting, including those in response to management, audit, or regulatory requirements
  • Experience translating and summarizing complex data and technical concepts into understandable, actionable information and recommendations to executive level audiences
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, partnership and influencing skills
