About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Manager to lead enterprise execution, governance, and delivery oversight for the Payments Transformation portfolio within the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL), Product & Platform organization. This role is accountable for managing a centralized team responsible for driving disciplined execution, integrated planning, and leadership transparency across a complex, multi‑year payments modernization agenda.
The Payments Transformation portfolio focuses on expanding core payments products, strengthening pricing discipline across deposits and fees, and modernizing payments platforms and architecture to enable scalable, resilient payment ecosystems. As the senior execution leader for Payments Transformation, this role manages a dedicated execution and governance team that serves as the connective tissue across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Delivery. The Business Execution Senior Manager establishes and operates the enterprise delivery model, maintains core governance artifacts, and leads execution routines that surface risks early, enable timely decisions, and maintain readiness for major releases and deployment events.
In this role, you will:
Lead, develop, and manage a centralized program management team supporting the Payments Transformation portfolio, ensuring clear accountability, performance expectations, and consistent delivery standards.
Drive enterprise‑wide program management for Payments Transformation, ensuring business strategies are translated into integrated plans, timelines, and deliverables across initiatives and releases.
Ensure alignment and execution across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and external partners by coordinating priorities, dependencies, and sequencing of work.
Identify, assess, and escalate portfolio‑level risks, constraints, and readiness concerns, partnering with senior leaders to drive timely resolution and informed decision‑making.
Establish and lead operating and governance routines and forums to ensure alignment, transparency, effective escalation, and adherence to governance expectations.
Provide clear, concise executive reporting on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs, enabling leadership visibility and accountability.
Continuously improve program management practices, strengthening planning rigor, reporting consistency, and execution predictability in support of business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years Management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting payments transformation initiatives within large, complex organizations
Proven ability to manage priorities and dependencies across multiple teams or workstreams
Experience supporting large‑scale transformation or migration programs
Familiarity with payment rails and messaging platforms such as ACH, FedNow, CHIPS, SWIFT, MT‑to‑MX, and ISO 20022
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including PowerPoint development and executive‑ready storytelling
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
Ability to synthesize complex inputs from diverse stakeholders into clear actions and recommendations
Customer‑centric, outcome‑focused mindset with the ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and meet delivery commitments

This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of the Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT, Irving, TX, Minneapolis, MN, or San Francisco, CA office approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
