About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Aligned Finance Analyst responsible for supporting Consumer Technology Product and Investment Financials for the Consumer Lines of Business. In this role you will be responsible for direct line of business support, providing financial and economic analysis, forecasting and evaluating trends. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of financials, understanding variances to portfolio plans and linking them to the business outcomes.


In this role, you will:

Portfolio Reporting

  • Own technology portfolio financial analysis and reporting.
  • Provide strategic insights into capacity gaps and business outcomes.
  • Serve as the senior point of accountability for portfolio transparency, including Investment/Productions Support/Non-Labor views of the portfolio. Strategy, Governance & Decision Making
  • Establish and lead portfolio financial routines, partnering with Consumer Technology, Technology Portfolio Management, Consumer Line of Business, Consumer Finance, and Technology Finance to enable consistent prioritization and execution discipline. Business Partnership & Influence
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior Consumer Technology and Line of Business leaders, influencing portfolio strategy and capacity decisions


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial products
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to synthesize data work with ambiguity and make recommendations to executive leaders
  • Experience creating presentations via PowerPoint and presenting to executive leaders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and deliver difficult messages with professionalism.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning systems like Apptio, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and emerging AI technologies (CoPilot, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex data analysis
  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders (CIO / Product / Finance) where priorities shift, asks are imperfect, and the value is in judgment, storytelling, and defensible recommendations—not just execution
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while managing multiple priorities.

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule and will sit in one of our office locations. Preferred locations are Charlotte, NC and Irving, TX.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $187,000.00
