About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to serve as a senior process owner and strategic execution lead within the National Branch Network’s Operations & Servicing Process Team. As a strategic business lead, you will own complex branch banking processes, drive risk and control excellence, and lead issue management and audit readiness activities.
In this role, you will:
Own and manage end‑to‑end branch banking process improvements assigned
Serve as a senior subject matter expert and strategic advisor to senior leaders and executives, supporting operational execution and proactively identifying emerging risks
Lead issue management, including identification, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking
Lead or actively participate in various projects and initiatives impacting branch banking.
Play an active leadership role in RCSA execution, including risk identification, control design, and ongoing monitoring
Manage audit requests, challenges, and inquiries, ensuring timely, high‑quality deliverables
Assess business performance and operational results, translating complex data into actionable insights and prioritized workstreams
Develop, review, and maintain procedures and standards, ensuring alignment to risk, control, and operational requirements
Engage directly with branches through branch visits, process testing, and on‑site reviews to validate execution
Represent operations and process ownership in senior leadership forums, influencing decision‑making across a complex, matrixed organization
Partner across Branch Banking, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Operations to improve process efficiency, strengthen controls, and ensure sustainable execution across the branch network
Assume RAU ownership responsibilities as needed, providing leadership and support for ongoing business needs
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years banking, financial services, and or branch banking experience
5+ years project management, managing multiple complex initiatives and competing priorities
Desired Qualifications:
Strong process ownership experience, issue resolution, and operational governance
Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand data and reporting inputs to uncover potential process and/or control deficiencies.
Experience in issue management, root cause analysis, and execution of remediation plans
Leading RCSA activities with an active leadership role in risk identification and control design
Risk and control expertise, including understanding of branch banking operational risk frameworks and compliance requirements
Advanced procedural writing skills, with experience developing and maintaining policies and procedures
Transformational thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for process simplification and innovation
Knowledge and understanding of AI tools and capabilities, including effective use of Copilot to enhance productivity and insights
Executive‑level communication and influence skills, with the ability to engage and present to senior leaders across a matrixed organization
Advanced Microsoft Office experience to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
Job Expectations:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule
Availability to support business operations during Central and/or Eastern Time Zone hours
Ability to travel up to 25% of time within market

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $239,000.00Benefits
