- Accountable for managing a small group of technology rooms (third party colocation edge sites) as part of an on call 24/7 rotation, in partnership with a team of senior infrastructure engineers
- Accountable for supporting Infrastructure builds, expansion, and modernization projects including core and backbone network device installations, refreshes, and circuit migrations that support increased capacity and performance
- Someone who enjoys the creation and delivery of training materials and process documentation
- Writing training and procedure documentation engineers will use daily
- Updating our operating model playbooks
- Leading our transformation to automation using AI
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ Data Center or Technology Hosting experience with Third Party Vendor Managed Colocation sites
Desired Qualifications
- Provide approvals and feedback on current processes, procedures, and standards to facilitate efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of our products
- Partner regularly with Security, Properties, Network, and others to deliver on annual business Objectives & Key Results (OKR’s) for our hosting environments
- Collaborate to provide innovative engineering solutions to product leads, Kanban leads, and Scrum Masters to execute on product delivery
- Assist with establishing and maintaining Service Level Agreement (SLA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Data Center operation framework
- Lead and partner on automation and data tools initiatives to further streamline support tools such as Jira, Service Now, Confluence, Nlyte, and more
- Collaborate on metrics and reporting for global staff that quantify service level achievement, resource consumption, growth, related to RTB/CTB (Run the Bank & Change the Bank) activities, using Power BI
- General understanding of cloud technologies and experience in managing or migrating services to the cloud
- Familiarity with or interest in Power BI
- Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, or generative AI experience
- Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)

- The DCHS Satellite Site Management Team (SSM) is part of the broader Data Center organization.
We provide focused technology and operational support for a diverse portfolio of technology hosting environments (200sq ft - 25,000sq ft.) supporting the Small and Edge product model sites across the U.S.
