About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Middleware MQ.
This individual will cover jobs of design, build, enhance, and integration the technology infrastructure required to support various platforms and Wells Fargo's business portfolio.
Middleware Messaging Operations delivers comprehensive, end-to-end operational support across the enterprise. This includes the full lifecycle management of 4 messaged products and their infrastructure. The team provides critical support for all CIO portfolios and is equally accountable for the complete lifecycle of middleware technologies, encompassing messaging platforms and ACE broker services. Through these capabilities, the team ensures resilient, secure, and optimized operations that enable business continuity and performance at scale. MQ, Kafa and Solace messaging & ACE Broker provides enterprise grade messaging, streaming, low latency features and functionalities to over 1300 Applications across all CIO to support multi billion fund transfers of mission critical systems.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware Messaging environments (IBM MQ, IBM Message Broker (ACE/IIB), KAFKA, Solace) Administration performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance
- 5+ experience in Middleware Production Support in Linux and/or Mainframe platforms
- 2+ years of automation experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience across enterprise environments
- 6+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Middleware Messaging platforms such as: IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ) IBM Message Broker/ ACE / IIB, Kafka, Solace
- Strong experience supporting enterprise-level, highly available, mission-critical environments
- Experience with Kafka Connect - worker and connectors (Source and Sink).
- Ability to troubleshoot Authentication and Authorization issues
- Experience SSL certificate management
- Experience in using Ansible jobs

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00Benefits
