About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Services Consultant for our Technology Business Development which is a new function at Wells Fargo. Learn more about career areas and business divisions at https://www.wellsfargojobs.com.

Our core activities are to find and evaluate startups that fill identified gaps in our technology capabilities and roadmap, engage with our large strategic vendors to enhance our partnership activities, and work with businesses across Wells Fargo to identify key technology trends and optimize our partnerships with new and existing vendors. This role will help build our Venture Capital coverage model, build and maintain tools to track our engagement with startups and VCs, and work across Technology and our business to drive growth opportunities for Technology and Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products & services for medium to large business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services

• Review customer information with the technology team

• Implement technical initiatives for complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise

• Lead initiatives for complex projects and work with the technology team to assess customer information and recommend best solutions to the customer

• Conduct research or testing of achieving market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory or compliance issues and implications of new implementations

• Collaborate and consult with the technology team to resolve issues and provide customers with best possible solutions

• Provide guidance on leveraging new technology

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated curiosity to understand the potential of emerging technologies, ranging from GenAI to cybersecurity to business-facing applications, among others

• Either an understanding of our enterprise technology stack and our strategies and goals in Technology, or a desire and aptitude to learn these areas

• Strong analytic, writing, and presentation skills. The product for this role will often be a written brief, spreadsheet/analysis, and/or a slides

• Strong interpersonal skills

• An ability to build relationships that range from early in career colleagues to more senior members of the WFC team

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
