About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Product Owner for Performance and Tooling to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of enterprise network performance, capacity management, and network tooling platforms. This role will drive critical initiatives across network observability, performance analytics, and capacity planning to ensure highly resilient, scalable, and high‑performing network services across the organization.

The position oversees vendor strategy and ongoing vendor management for network monitoring and observability platforms, with a focus on performance optimization, cost efficiency, and financial stewardship of network tooling investments. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of deep networking expertise, product ownership experience, and program delivery leadership. Success in this role requires the ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives spanning network engineering, infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams within a large‑scale enterprise environment.

This is a highly visible, strategic role centered on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering measurable enhancements to network reliability.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise

  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

  • Coordinate highly complex activities and guidance to others

  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise

  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of Project Management methodologies experience : SCRUM or KANBAN demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 5+ years of technical experience across networking, software platforms, and tooling ecosystems.

  • Proven experience driving cross‑functional initiatives in large or complex enterprise environments.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of network monitoring, observability platforms, and performance analytics.

  • Experience with enterprise‑scale network architectures, automation, and systems.

    Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and optimize platform performance and cost efficiency

Job Expectations:

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for network performance, observability, and tooling platforms

    Partner across network engineering, cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams to drive performance excellence

    Oversee vendor performance, contract adherence, financial stewardship, and continuous optimization of tooling investments

Onsite work required 3x weekly

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
