About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive strategy and execution for Auto Finance originations. This role blends product vision, technology leadership, and business impact—delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Define and prioritize product features aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, for technology solutions
- Build business cases for initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, tech, product, legal, compliance, risk) to design and deliver optimal solutions
- Mentor and develop less-tenured associates within the tech team
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and company policy
- Champion agile methodologies and foster continuous improvement
- Translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations and clear communication
- Demonstrate effective collaboration and influence across all levels of the organization
- Synthesize multi-dimensional, complex concepts into clear actions and decisions
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (cloud, microservices, APIs, DevOps)
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence)
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
- Experience supporting Auto Finance and/or Consumer Lending
- Ability to assess risk, implement solutions, and influence change
