About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Lead Systems Quality Assurance Consultant to join the Debit Card Processing team within Consumer Small and Business Banking to drive systems quality assurance initiatives across financial platforms, with a specific focus on ACH, Debit, and ATM payment systems. This role requires strong leadership, deep domain expertise in banking and payments, and the ability to collaborate across global teams in an Agile environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead diverse systems quality assurance (QA) testing initiatives across complex software platforms, ensuring high standards of reliability and performance.

  • Serve as a key contributor in strategic planning and execution of QA processes for enterprise-level systems.

  • Guide cross-functional teams—including testing, development, and project groups—by providing training, resolving escalated issues, and assessing testing needs.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Drive the successful implementation of high-impact projects and initiatives, with a specific focus on Debit Card products and ATM systems.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define, establish, and maintain standardized QA processes, templates, and documentation.

  • Partner with experienced leaders to support broader business initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience and systems or application testing, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency in leading Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives within Agile development environments using Jira for tracking and collaboration

  • Over 5 years of experience partnering with technology and business subject matter experts to define, build, and execute comprehensive test requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the banking industry, ensuring compliance and quality across financial systems

  • 2+ years of specialized experience in ACH, credit card, and debit card payment systems

  • 2+ year experience successfully delivering QA projects across multiple time zones, demonstrating strong coordination and communication skills

  • Regression automation experience a plus e.g. previous experience with Selenium, Playwright, Tosca and ACCELQ .


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • This position will require onsite presence at one of the locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule

Salary Range:

Minnesota: $119,000- $206,000 annually

Actual salary is determined by location, experience and qualifications of the job.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
