About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join the Network Security organization. This is a critical role focused on safeguarding the enterprise network through innovative security engineering and operational excellence. You will be part of a dynamic team that designs and supports cutting-edge security technologies, helping to protect one of the largest financial institutions in the world. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, strong technical acumen, and a passion for solving complex security challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in engineering/reporting efforts on projects relating to internet proxies, remote access, ZTNA, firewalls, etc.

• Track or remediate vulnerabilities and security issues

• Review and correlate security logs

• Assist with the design, documentation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security solutions related to network security

• Provide technical support for security related issues

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Interface with more experienced technologists

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Splunk experience

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Advanced Information Security technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies

• Automation experience

• Experience with ServiceNow

• Technical documentation experience

• Understanding of Agile concepts (Scrum, Kanban)

• This position does require working in an office in a hybrid environment

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
