About the Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Pega to join our Claims Technology team within the Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO). This group delivers cutting-edge technology solutions that support operations, strategic execution, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and customer experience across the enterprise.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of building secure, scalable, and intelligent systems that protect our customers from fraud and disputes, while maintaining a seamless user experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver enterprise-grade Pega applications that directly impact the trust and safety of our financial ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead development of complex, large-scale applications using Pega, driving architecture and design decisions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that integrates seamlessly with platform releases.

  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with architects, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Champion best practices in software development, deployment, and system architecture.

  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to automated testing to ensure engineering excellence.

  • Design and maintain system integrations including APIs, file transfers, and SQL queries.

  • Drive continuous improvement, challenging the status quo to enhance performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Pega development

  • 3+ years Software Development experience in an Agile environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Pega CSSA Certification (Senior System Architect)

  • Strong expertise in Pega Case Management, integration rules, application security, and layering concepts

  • Experience in Fraud, Dispute, or Case Management domains

  • Prior experience with Wells Fargo systems

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
