About this role:
The Veteran Experienced Talent (VET) Program is a 6-week direct hire program dedicated to hiring military talent. Veterans are hired as full-time employees and will receive support and coaching aimed at supporting transition into Wells Fargo. The program includes a two-day Military Orientation led by the Military Talent Strategic Sourcing (MTSS) Team or Learning and Development Facilitators. Weekly professional development sessions are held to ease transition, network, and build camaraderie within the cohort. In addition, VET Program Alumni are available to mentor and support hires.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Product Integrity Specialist within the Finance Transformation Office. The Senior Lead Data Product Integrity Specialist will be part of the Finance Data Operations Team within the Finance Transformation Office. FTO’s Operational mission is to provide leadership and operational / execution support to deliver reliable and well-governed data across the enterprise. This position will actively manage data used to modernize the distribution and curation of Wells Fargo reporting solutions across multiple domains. In addition, drive the
delivery of reliable data for strategic data centric decision making, business growth, regulatory reporting and risk management.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a data steward and advisor to senior leaders to develop and influence data integrity and quality initiatives and long-term goals for highly complex business systems
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique data quality reviews and audits across the business; deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, require advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities while providing guidance to others
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant data quality solutions that are large-scale, multi-system and can influence Enterprise data standards and control frameworks
- Strategically engage with professional and leaders across the enterprise on data quality initiatives, Enterprise data standards, and control framework; serve as an expert advisor to business leaders
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise Data Management policies, standards, and technology, and facilitate execution of business data standards and control frameworks
- Understand the complete data lifecycle from data creation and capture to data processing, storage, and usage
- Serve as an expert to senior leaders on end-to-end data lineage using traditional methods and systemic tools consulting; strategically set the direction for business data quality improvement plans to maximize efficiency and minimize risk
- Drive strategies to identify critical data elements and data quality rules to effectively govern data across the business
- Act as an advisor to Enterprise Data Management and Technology functions on business data and systems
- Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management and leaders regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of data quality or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of data quality or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience,
education - 5+ years of SQL experience
- 5+ years of experience in data management related areas such as metadata or lineage, data governance or data quality
- 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
- Experience working with various Data Platforms to include Consumer, Commercial, Securities & Derivatives, Deposits, Party and Reference Data
- Experience working within a complex cross domain programs/projects
- Ability to leverage complex Tableau, Power BI and other reporting / dashboard
technologies to deliver concise analytic results to management - Experience with data quality, using data dictionaries, lineage, data mapping and other tools in support of complex data defect research, triage, and monitoring
- Demonstrated experience in risk identification and business process improvement
Job Expectations:
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week) in the location listed
