Job Summary:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to join our Compensation Analytics team within Human Resources. This role combines advanced data analytics with compensation strategy to support enterprise-wide decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, and reports that support compensation planning, regulatory compliance, and business strategy with a focus on scalable solutions that are used across the organization

  • Lead complex analyses of compensation trends, pay equity, incentive effectiveness, and workforce segmentation using advanced analytics tools and methodologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and design compensation solutions that balance competitiveness, equity, and cost-effectiveness

  • Provide influence and leadership in identifying new tools, technologies, and methods to enhance compensation analytics capabilities

  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations on all analytics projects

  • Mentor junior analysts and lead project teams to deliver high-impact solutions

  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships across departments by promoting open, two-way communication and a shared sense of ownership, resulting in successful project outcomes


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of Advanced Excel skills and experience doing data analysis, modeling, and visualization with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, and/or other programming tool

  • 1+ year of experience working in Compensation or HR


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience building dashboards and workflow tools using Power BI and Power Apps

  • Demonstrated understanding of compensation principles and practices

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership

  • Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $188,900.00
