About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support our Governance and Compliance product area.

Technology Lifecycle Management Engineering (TLME) within the Chief Development Office (CDO) is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to support our Governance and Compliance product areas. In this role, you will lead the build out of new applications and microservices, fully leveraging for scale, the tools, platform, and services such as dockers, Kubernetes in the cloud environments. You will be empowered to take initiative, propose ideas, and innovate to enable modernization and Cloud adoption.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of design and development experience with .NET or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 3+ years of experience using React/Angular/Java script for front end development
  • 3+ years of SQL, Database experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years development in a Kubernetes environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile development practices
  • 3+ years of experience in building and deploying UI/UX applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts, querying, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
