About this role:
The Head of Digital Communications and Operations will lead the development and execution of digital communication strategies to enhance the company's online presence and engagement. This role will oversee digital content creation and delivery, manage digital communication channels, and ensure the alignment of digital strategies with both business objectives, and risk and control standards. This leader serves as a member of the Communications & Integrated Marketing leadership team.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital communication strategies to amplify the company's digital presence.
- Oversee the management of digital content operations, including the supervision of digital content and creative teams, and the monitoring of digital marketing campaigns.
- Analyze digital data to assess the effectiveness of digital campaigns and leverage insights to enhance future strategies. Present insights and reports to key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions to optimize Wells Fargo’s brand and reputation.
- Manage communication and branding aspects across web, mobile, and social platforms.
- Collaborate with various departments and key stakeholders, including line of business and function leaders, marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure cohesive digital communication efforts.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and partnerships to support digital initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Ensure excellent SEO optimization and efficient content delivery.
- Provide strategic counsel and engaging content to drive increased employee and customer interaction while protecting and enhancing the company's reputation and culture.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
- “Three sixty” communications skills that include strong storytelling and content development in addition to superlative writing skills.
- Direct experience managing a digital media ecosystem, with a demonstrated track record of success in launching communications campaigns and editorial calendar management.
- Excellent relationship skills; good listener; respects the expertise of others; proven ability to equally motivate and garner action from superiors, peers and subordinates, whether there is a formal reporting relationship or not.
- The ability to quickly establish credibility with management and function with peers at the corporate and divisional levels is essential.
- Strong drive, work ethic, and a sense of urgency; will flourish in a demanding work environment.
- Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain a highly engaged, high performing, and diverse team.
- A leader who operates with a collaborative management style, is execution-focused, results oriented and has a demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong executive presence.
- Strong knowledge of the digital landscape, including web, mobile, and social domains.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in branding and marketing, with a good understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a strong entrepreneurial drive.
- Proficiency in digital analytics tools and platforms.
- Deep experience in managing digital communication teams and projects.
- Deep experience in measurement and data analytics, particularly in the areas of reputation management, share of voice and sentiment.
- Knowledge of HTML, Google Analytics, and reporting tools.
- Direct experience researching and working with industry-leading tools and suppliers in the digital communications space.
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00Benefits
