About this role:

National Branch Growth & Enablement, which is a part of Consumer, Small & Business Banking is seeking a Academy Design & Execution Senior Manager. The Sales Enablement & Integration team is responsible for small business banker readiness integration activities, readiness programs and proficiency, advisory tools and insights, and the adoption of sales initiatives.

This leader will support Smal & Business Banking (SBB) integration of academy programs as well as Non-Branch Network (NBN) support. This role is essential to ensure seamless business onboarding, role readiness, and continuous role proficiency and development across multiple roles. This role is responsible for driving the preparedness and effectiveness of internal teams that support small business clients. This role ensures employees are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and role-specific competencies needed to deliver exceptional service, meet performance goals, and adapt to evolving business needs. The manager leads readiness Initiatives, training execution, and resource alignment to enable operational excellence and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead role readiness & line of business onboarding, cross team integration & alignment, building targeted business role readiness & business certification programs and enabling role proficiency and speed to productivity.

  • Be the key integration point with our HR L&D partners on delivering enterprise training across roles in S&BB as well as NBN. Critical integration into the branch network workshops, and readiness around small business proficiency for branch bankers.

  • Serve as a cross functional integration point across the teams to curate, develop and deliver role training initiatives and establish structure role proficiency progression programs in partnership with Business Leaders, key partners and our L&D partners.

  • Strategic connector, integrating efforts across teams to drive consistency, efficiency and long-term success.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years Management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

  • Deep understanding of small business client needs, frontline support operations, or customer lifecycle management.

  • Ability to connect strategic business goals to execution level enablement activities

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems

  • Experience with learning development, design and delivery

  • Serves on workstreams as Subject Matter Expert to identify and build development, training, and learning activities and/or resources

  • Experience facilitating and delivering training or other related facilitation experience such as group meetings or presentations

  • Experience with platform technology (managing a tool, uploading content)

  • Experience with reporting (data tracking, analyzing)

  • Ability to strategize and consult with leaders, executive management, Partners, internal stakeholders and L&D to support employee development and key learning initiatives/programs.

  • Experience serving on workstreams as Subject Matter Expert to identify and build development, training, and learning activities and/or resources

  • Experience with Small Business Banking in a financial services environment

  • Excellent project management skills with experience managing complex projects across a matrixed organization

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the proven ability to manage processes, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, MS Teams, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
