About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Originations Associate (Credit Product Sales Specialist) to join the Secured Lending group, part of Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in the sourcing of new clients or growing existing relationships for a given product or specialty
- Develop inquiries or identify gaps within the context of individual deals and client relationships to support the understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
- Partner with coverage teams and senior peers, to complete low to moderately complex transactions for specialty products, including by analyzing potential opportunities, structuring tailored financial solutions, and participating in internal coordination, in support of the presentation of financial solutions to clients and transaction review by management or independent risk
- Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers if applicable
- Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing a sound understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on the use of tools to deliver credit solutions more effectively, meeting client and market needs
- Contribute to functional area planning related to a given product or specialty
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Industry experience in Asset-Based Lending (ABL) and Factoring, with a strong understanding of staffing, government contracting, and consumer product sectors.
- Understanding of Portfolio Management and underwriting
- Good PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems quickly
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Energetic, quick learner, positive attitude, self-motivated
- Ability to work independently, organizing and managing multiple priorities
Job Expectations:
- Must be able to travel with short notice. up to 25%
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

- New York, NY– 87,700.00 - 155,900.00 USD Annual
- Dallas, TX – 73,100.00 - 129,900.00 USD Annual
- Weston, FL – 73,100.00 - 129,900.00 USD Annual
- Denver, CO – 73,100.00 - 129,900.00 USD Annual
- Atlanta, GA - 73,100.00 - 129,900.00 USD Annual
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
