The Senior Informatica Engineer will focus on development within IDCM. This individual will support integrations between systems, database interactions, and transformation initiatives. Other responsibilities could include,

Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for all the database and Informatica code that would be developed for the supported LOB areas and oversees the development activities from other resources, providing coding direction to less experienced staff and develops highly complex original code, analyzing highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications, and other similar activities to support the team.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience with Informatica Cloud services
  • 3+ years of Relational Databases (Oracle/SQL Server) experience
  • 3+ years of experience on REST/SOAP based webservices, XML and JSON processing

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables
  • Experience with Informatica Cloud services like Data Integration, Application Integration, Application Integration Console, Operational Insights and Monitor
  • Experience working with integration software like Mulesoft, SSIS, etc.
  • Banking industry experience
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies
  • Experience with cloud integrations, preferably with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM clouds.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • Experience communicating with business partners and project managers


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Ability to work on-site at posted location
