JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer (Blue Yonder WMS) for a 6M C2H opportunity that is located in Irving, TX 75039 (onsite 4-days per week). The Senior Developer will support and optimize the enterprise applications landscape. The ideal Senior Developer will have 5 years of experience in software development, a deep understanding of Supply Chain Management processes, and 2 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS (BY/JDA). The Senior Software Developer dive into Blue Yonder WMS, writing Java and MOCA code to customize features (inventory tracking / warehouse task automation). The Senior Developer will troubleshoot workflow issues, providing Tier 2/3 support to resolve errors in inbound / outbound processes. Using APIs, EDI, and middleware (Dell Boomi), the Senior Developer will integrate the WMS with ERP systems and tools, like ProShip, for seamless data flow. The Senior Developer will create Jasper Reports for warehouse metrics and train IT and supply chain staff on their use. The Senior Developer will write rollout scripts for system updates and maintaining technical documentation. Additionally, occasional onsite work will involve integrating hardware like RF scanners, etc.

- Configuring / Troubleshooting WMS Workflows / Integrations / Performance – Supporting High-Volume Distribution Networks
- Warehouse Management / Supply Chain Leadership Collaboration – Translating Business Requirements into Scalable Technical Solutions
- Building / Testing / Deploying Custom WMS Enhancements / Integrations – ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) | ProShip / Conveyor Systems using APIs / EDI / Middleware (Dell Boomi / MuleSoft, etc.).
- Leading WMS Upgrades / Rollouts / Patch Installations in Partnership with Blue Yonder with Minimal Downtime.
- WMS Integration – ERP / Third-Party Systems, Ensuring Seamless End-to-End Data Flow
- Creating / Maintaining System Documentation / Technical Specifications / SOPs
- Leading / Participating in WMS Enhancements / Implementation / Upgrade Projects
- Monitoring System Performance / Proactively Resolving Technical Issues
- Providing Tier 2 / 3 Support – Resolving Issues / Training Users to Maximize System Adoption
- Installing New Blue Yonder Enhancements / Project Rollouts | Proactively Following-Up on Updates / Issues
- Analyzing Warehouse Data – Utilizing SQL / Excel | Drive Process Improvements / Optimize Performance
- Maintain Detailed Technical Documentation / SOPs, ensuring System Reliability / Compliance
