About the Project: The Lead Solution Architect is a technically deep role where the architect combines strategic vision with practical cloud solution design and leadership, ensuring that enterprise systems are modern, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives. The Lead Architect will play a larger role than that of a strategic designer, where the architect will also contribute directly to hands-on coding, web development, and integration tasks as needed. The Lead architect will actively design and implement DevOps processes, not just recommend them, including building pipelines, managing releases, and automating repetitive tasks to improve agility, reliability, and speed of delivery. The Lead Architect will actively work with both cloud infrastructure and application layers, including coding, automating, and deploying cloud-native solutions, while also managing containers and orchestrating workloads in a scalable, reliable way. Additionally, the Lead Architect will not only design cloud infrastructure but also enable actionable insights by integrating, processing, and analyzing enterprise data using modern cloud-based data solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Lead Solution Architect – Focusing on Cloud Solutions (5 years)
Development (hands-on) – C# / .NET Custom Development / Web Application Development (HTML / CSS / JavaScript / AJAX / XML / jQuery)
DevOps – CI/CD Pipelines / Release Management / Automation Tools (Azure DevOps, etc.)
Cloud Technologies – NodeJS / PowerShell for Azure | Terraform | VueJS / ReactJS | Docker / Kubernetes
Data Solutions – PowerBI / Azure ML / Azure DataFactory
SDLC Methodologies – SCRUM / Kanban / Agile, etc.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
