• Lead all tax planning and compliance efforts, including income, employment, payroll, sales and use, and other business taxes at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Oversee timely and accurate tax filings and payments across all jurisdictions.
• Advise on tax implications related to client onboarding, employee benefits, M&A activities, and corporate structuring.
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and tax reporting on behalf of client worksite employees.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
• Proactively identify tax risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Stay current on tax law developments and guide the business in adapting to regulatory changes.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, legal, finance, operations, and technology teams to ensure tax considerations are embedded in key business decisions.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals; oversee performance management, development, and succession planning.
