| Job Summary | The Laboratory for Healthy Social-Emotional Development is hiring a full-time Research Assistant I or II to begin as soon as possible (PI: Dr. Alva Tang). The Research Assistant will work at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) main campus in Richardson. The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to work on an NICHD funded study examining adolescents’ processing of social information, and to oversee day-to-day activities in the lab. This position is in the Department of Psychology in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at UTD (bbs.utdallas.edu). UTD is the fastest growing University in Texas, is ranked number 3 in the nation among universities less than 50 years old and houses a vibrant research community. The city of Dallas is an international economic hub with a vibrant cultural atmosphere and world-class sports and entertainment in a temperate climate. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding and satisfactory job performance. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Research Assistant I: Bachelor’s degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.
