| Job Summary | The University of Texas at Dallas has an excellent job opportunity for individuals looking to join the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science team as an Accountant II. Reporting to the Financial Analyst, the Accountant II will assist in supporting the fiscal operations of the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state requirements. This position is responsible for account maintenance, account reconciliation, service center billing, external revenue collections, check deposits, graduate scholarships, assisting with day-to-day financial operations across all Jonsson School departments, and other monetary requests. This position will also provide budget analysis and reports for academic and research entities to optimize financial planning and decision-making. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; Two (2) years experience in governmental or commercial accounting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
