| Job Summary | The University of Texas at Dallas Student Union Event Coordinator is a member of the Meeting and Event Planning team within a dynamic, multi-faceted department. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Student Union Meeting & Event Planning, the Event Coordinator supports the planning and coordination of events held within Student Union facilities, which encompass approximately 644,000 square feet of meeting, event, and gathering space. The position serves as a key resource for students, student organizations, campus partners, and external clients by facilitating reservations, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring successful event execution across Student Union venues. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Associate’s Degree. One (1) or more years of working events as host, server or support crew. Three (3) or more years using Microsoft Office products. An equivalent level of education and/or experience is acceptable. |

| Additional Information | Remote Work Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval. Work Schedule
