| Job Summary | A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Professor Alexander Adibekian in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Dallas. We are seeking a specialist in target identification of complex natural products to join a collaborative research group working at the interface of chemistry and biology. The successful candidate will apply chemoproteomic and chemical biology approaches to identify and characterize the protein targets of bioactive natural products, with the goal of elucidating their mechanisms of action and nforming the development of new therapeutic leads. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Ph.D in a related field. Candidates who have successfully completed all requirements for the Ph.D. but whose degree has not yet been formally conferred may be eligible to begin employment provided they submit an official letter from the Registrar or Graduate School of the degree-granting institution certifying that all doctoral requirements have been satisfied and specifying the expected date of conferral. Appointment and continued employment are contingent upon formal conferral of the Ph.D. |
