| Job Summary | To perform assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of scientific methods in a specific discipline and in such areas as research, design or experimental testing. Responsible for assignments that require the technical knowledge to modify or adapt procedures and to meet special research requirements. Designs, assembles and operates equipment used in research. Performs detailed analyses, tests and operations. May prepare technical reports, computer programs, and project plans. May assist engineers or faculty members with specific phases of research projects. Performs related duties as required. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Master’s degree in a field directly related to specified research area and two (2) years of directly applicable experience conducting research related to the specified field of study. |
