| Job Summary | To provide semi-skilled work assisting in the installation, maintenance and remodeling, repair and servicing of plumbing systems. Responsible for prompt performance of assigned plumbing and related duties. This entry-level position develops skills to provide the opportunity to apply for a State Apprentice Endorsement within the first six months of employment, and the long term possibility of acquiring skills that lead to becoming a licensed Journeyman Plumber. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Requisite skills to attain the State Apprentice License within six months of employment. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Capable of using wrenches, pipe-cutting and threading tools, metal saws, gauges and pressure equipment. Ability to perform outdoor work in any type of weather. |
