| Job Summary | Provides administrative and program support for the undergraduate and graduate programs within the Department of Systems Engineering. Coordinates academic support processes, assists prospective and current students, and manages admissions-related activities. Maintains student records and departmental databases, supports course scheduling and registration, and ensures compliance with institutional policies and procedures. Also oversees departmental communications and marketing efforts, including website updates and social media, while delivering excellent customer service to students, faculty, and external stakeholders. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four or more years of administrative office experience in an academic environment. Excellent computer skills with various programs and ability to work with specialized databases. Outstanding customer service skills. |
| Preferred Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four or more years of administrative office experience in an academic environment. | Additional Information | Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
