| Job Summary | The Parking and Transportation Manager provides management and supervision of the all parking operations including fiscal management, planning, staff supervision, and alternative transportation. The Parking & Transportation Manager provides overall supervision of the UT Dallas Parking Office. Supervise the day-to-day operations which include first-line customer contact, citation payment processing, appeals processing, billing, collections, invoicing and reports. Additionally, the Parking and Transportation Manager oversees daily operations to assure efficient customer service; assures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and codes; evaluates customer and client eligibility and requirements. Handles monthly financial reconciliation, accounts payable, human resources, and inventory for department. |
| Minimum Education and Experience |

| Preferred Education and Experience | Previous higher education work experience preferred. Completed Bachelors, Masters, or other advanced degree. Two years of management experience, and prior experience in parking and transportation industry strongly preferred. |
| Other Qualifications | To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |

| Physical Demands and Working Conditions | Primarily an office position, but field work is also required, as needed. Exposure to weather, including extreme cold, extreme heat, wet and/or humid conditions. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs for short periods of time. |

| Additional Information | If driving university vehicles, must have valid Texas driver’s license and three years of documented, licensed driving experience and must complete vehicle safety training. A remote work schedule is not available for this position. Position will work onsite and in person. |
