The Associate Provost for Digital Learning & Innovation provides strategic and operational leadership to advance the university’s mission through innovation, access, and excellence in online education. This leader guides the design, development, and continuous improvement of online and hybrid offerings, integrating emerging technologies (AI, VR, AR) and innovative pedagogies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Serving as a key liaison between academic units and digital infrastructure, the Associate Provost fosters cross-campus collaboration to support program growth, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and create a cohesive digital learning ecosystem aligned with the university’s strategic priorities.

Master’s degree.
5 years higher education work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of progressive leadership in educational technology or online program management.

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
