| Job Summary | Position Description The Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking to fill one tenure-system faculty position. For this position, we prefer hiring one senior candidate at the Associate or Full Professor rank whose research interests are in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Those who are in related areas will also be considered. The position is housed in the Organizations, Strategy, and International Management (OSIM) area. The appointment commences for the fall 2026 semester. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: A PhD or equivalent in Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, or a related discipline is required prior to employment. A track record of research productivity and of excellence in teaching and service that is commensurate with the rank of Associate or Full Professor is also required. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates able to produce research and scholarly or creative achievements that enhance the program and the discipline, and able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences. Organizations, Strategy, and International Management The OSIM area covers the following domains: entrepreneurship and innovation, international management, organizational behavior and human resource management, organization theory, and strategic management. Our faculty have repeatedly published in leading management and entrepreneurship & innovation journals, including Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Organization Science, Research Policy, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Strategic Management Journal. The OSIM area has an active PhD program and offers a variety of courses for the undergraduate and master’s programs that reflect the challenges of managing in a dynamic, global environment. | Minimum Education and Experience | An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline and a record of productivity and professional achievement. |
