| Job Summary | Under general supervision, the Employee Relations Specialist II (ERS II) serves as a valued resource working collaboratively with the UT Dallas campus community, promoting and managing employee relations best practices. The ERS II serves as a resource and advisor for employees at all levels, providing guidance, developing, and recommending sound strategies and resolutions to effectively address a variety of employee relations matters involving an employee, supervisor, colleagues, and other concerns related to the employment relationship. The ERS II plays a critical role in guiding and supporting efforts to promote a positive employee relations environment at UT Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of human resources experience, including at least three years of direct experience in an employee relations role, or experience in a position with a relevant transferable skill set requiring sound judgment, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and an understanding of local, state, and federal laws. Employees at this level are expected to work proactively, collaborate effectively with others, manage a caseload independently, and perform job duties under general supervision. |
