| Job Summary | Reporting to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences( EPPS), the Director serves as the head advisor for the school. The Director provides leadership and oversight to professional academic advising staff, develops and implements advising policies and programs, ensures that students have a clear understanding of degree requirements, and offers guidance on course selection and career planning. The Director is also responsible for enhancing student retention and graduation rates through the analysis of data trends and the implementation of evidence-based initiatives. |
| Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree in counseling or a related field and 8 years experience working with college students in an academic counseling or advising capacity; or Master’s degree & six years’ experience as described above. |
