| Job Summary | The Department of Neuroscience and the Center for Advanced Pain Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Price Lab. This role will contribute to NIH-funded research projects focused on understanding how neuronal plasticity influences the brain’s processing of nociceptive information from the sensory system and its relationship to chronic pain. The research involves the use of RNA sequencing, proteomic, and multiomic approaches to investigate the molecular composition of human dorsal root ganglion and spinal cord cells. This position is jointly funded by UT Dallas and a NIH grant. Compensation for Postdoctoral Research Associates in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS) is based on years of experience in accordance with the current NIH (NRSA) stipend levels. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon continued funding and satisfactory performance. |

| Additional Information | Remote Work: Some percentage possible by formal agreement in advance. Employees must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice.
