Job Summary	Join the JSOM Undergraduate Programs team as Program Director! The Jindal School of Management (JSOM) is seeking a visionary and collaborative Program Director to lead the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Technology program. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the student journey, strengthen industry connections, and elevate a nationally recognized program. As Program Director, you will: Oversee the student experience from admission through job placement. Ensure program quality by applying best practices and maintaining high academic standards. Serve as a connector between students and faculty, driving initiatives that support the school’s mission and vision. Lead enrollment and ranking improvement campaigns while enhancing student services and support. Build strategic partnerships with organizations, employers, and industries to expand student opportunities. We’re looking for a strong communicator and team-oriented leader who thrives on collaboration with faculty, administrators, students, and industry partners. Minimum Education and Experience	Bachelor’s degree; Five years experience in a related field of expertise; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience	Preferred Education and Experience A graduate degree in a related field (e.g., MS in Information Technology, Business Analytics, Computer Science) and/or a graduate degree in higher education (e.g., Ed.D., Ph.D.). Seven or more years of managerial experience in academic or professional settings, preferably in information technology. *Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.* *Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident to meet USCIS eligibility requirements.*
Other Qualifications	To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities	Essential Duties and Responsibilities Degree Program Management (45%) Develop innovative recruiting and orientation strategies, track student admissions, and implement yield initiatives to increase enrollment. Participate in prospective student events and orientations. Conduct competitive market analyses to improve program offerings and enhance national program rankings. Oversee AACSB assessment processes, administer exit surveys, and prepare related reports. Manage curriculum planning in collaboration with faculty: identify gaps, enhance existing courses, and propose new courses or certificates. Update academic catalogs and coordinate course scheduling with the Area Coordinator. Recruit and interview adjunct faculty for teaching assignments. Organize program-related conferences, case competitions, and meetings with the Industry Advisory Board (IAB). Maintain and develop marketing materials, including brochures, web content, orientation resources, information session presentations, and social media channels to enhance visibility. Design and execute alumni engagement activities, such as guest lectures, panel discussions, mentoring programs, résumé reviews, and social events. Student Services (45%) Provide comprehensive advising to students from admission through graduation, covering topics such as scholarships, visas, academic planning, course selection, grade grievances, and career placement. Collaborate with the Advising Office to address and resolve student concerns. Host regular town halls and information sessions to support student communication and engagement. Track key program metrics (e.g., admissions, retention, job placements, internships, industry engagement) and report findings to the department and Dean’s office. Oversee student organizations and manage program ambassadors. Plan and implement faculty, peer, and industry mentoring programs to support student development. Other Duties (10%) Provide support to the department and Dean’s office on various program-related initiatives and special projects as needed.
