Job Summary | Job Summary The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for all administrative aspects of the program, including scheduling, recruiting, team management, budgeting, and the direction of UTD-identified athletic and sport camps. This role requires representing the department and university in a professional and ethical manner and adhering to the Code of Ethics set forth by the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Texas System. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use institutional software systems. Compliance with all State and University policies is mandatory. A valid Texas driver’s license and annual passage of the NCAA Coach’s Certification Exam are required. Team Management / Student-Athlete Development

Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s Degree; previous coaching experience, preferably at a college level; knowledge and commitment to NCAA Division II rules. Two years coaching experience. |

Physical Demands and Working Conditions | Expected to work extended hours, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays during athletic seasons. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., travel on a bus or in vans for an extended period, and must be able to stand on the feet outside (if applicable) for a long period. Must be able to work on a team and adjust to schedules that may change. |

Additional Information | Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record at the time of hire. Remote Work Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid schedule (partly remote/partly in-office), subject to business needs and manager approval. The position requires residency within the DFW area and the ability to be on campus with 24 hours’ notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement must be completed within 14 days of approval.
