This position will provide general maintenance and custodial support for UTD’s Student Housing facilities. Duties involve general support of an assigned housing building.

Six months experience in custodial maintenance work; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to read, write, communicate and understand written and oral instructions in English.

1 – 2 years of custodial or general maintenance work experience. Experience operating carpet cleaning and floor care machines such as buffers, extractors, auto scrubbers, and burnishers.

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.

Work is conducted in-person and on-site.
