Job Summary | The Callier Center for Communication Disorders at The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a motivated and compassionate Audiologist to join our pediatric team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with patients from birth to 18 years of age, delivering both diagnostic and therapeutic audiological services in a collaborative, research-informed clinical environment. The audiologist’s scope of practice includes comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid dispensing, and the fitting of assistive listening devices as appropriate. A critical part of the role is performing advanced diagnostic procedures, including threshold auditory evoked potential (AEP) testing on naturally sleeping infants to confirm or rule out hearing loss. Minimum Education and Experience | Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree. Holds current Audiology license in the state of Texas or can obtain within 90 days of hire. Holds current certification from one (1) of the following organizations: American Speech Language Hearing Association or American Board of Audiology. Applicants that hold a current state license in Audiology and met all requirements at the time of licensure will be considered qualifying with a master’s degree in Audiology or closely related field. |
