Bachelor’s degree and four years of general office, accounting or business related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel is a plus.
• A successful candidate must be a self-starter, who is detail oriented, has the ability to meet deadline-oriented tasks, possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Applicant must be able to adjust readily to multiple demands and shifting priorities and work well in a team environment.

• HR/Payroll – Initiates employee payroll requests, termination, new position creations, reclassifications, and title changes.
  • Manages new hire onboarding for select departments across campus.
• Budgeting/Accounting/Reporting – Prepares accounting, finance, and human resources related ad-hoc reports for select departments and programs across campus.
  • Administers cost center (account) creation/changes and department creation/changes.
  • Reconcile and process budget journals and IDT journals.
  • Review monthly financial statements to identify errors and omissions.
• Procurement/Reimbursements – Processes travel reimbursements and payment vouchers, coordinates computer and equipment purchases, and handles check requests.
  • Works with external vendors on revenue and university central payments.
• Supports team during presentations of internal or external training.
• Additional duties as assigned.
