Job Summary | Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance and Administration, the Business Manager plays a key role in overseeing a high volume of complex financial processes that support the operational success of the School. This position calls for an individual with strong business acumen who is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and a creative problem-solver—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and consistently delivers results. The Business Manager will supervise the Financial Operations Coordinator and collaborate closely with the School’s Employee Operations and Grant Management teams. This is an action-oriented role that requires exceptional organizational and project management skills, along with a high degree of initiative, sound independent judgment, and professional discretion. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree and five years of related accounting and office management/supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |

Additional Information | Remote Work: After the appropriate training period, this position may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area for prompt arrival on campus with a 24-hour notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
