Job Summary | The Jindal School of Management is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Assistant Dean for JSOM Communications. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, multi-channel communications strategy that aligns with the school’s mission, enhances its global reputation, and supports institutional priorities. Reporting to senior leadership, the Assistant Dean will ensure all communications efforts are aligned with university and school-wide policies, priorities, and budgetary guidelines. This position plays a key role in managing communications-related risks and serves as an advisor to school leadership, including program directors, centers, and institutes. The Assistant Dean will lead a multidisciplinary team overseeing graphic design, digital and social media, web content, publications, public relations, video production, and marketing collateral. In addition to supervising daily operations, the role involves contributing to strategic initiatives and special projects that elevate the school’s visibility and impact. As a key representative of the school, the Assistant Dean must be adept at engaging a wide array of internal stakeholders and building strong relationships with external media, community partners, and other constituents. A deep understanding of emerging communication technologies, strong leadership capabilities, and a results-driven mindset are essential for success in this role. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelors degree and 5 years of related progressive experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. |
