The Office of Financial Aid is looking for an individual with experience in financial aid, student finance, or other similar experience to fill our Assistant Director, Financial Aid position. The Assistant Director, Financial Aid reports to the Associate Director of Financial Aid for Verification, Eligibility, and Loans Management and supervises the staff of the Verification & Eligibility Team, auditing and reporting on workload and work product and serving as backup for all Team functions. This position maintains knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations and procedures and uses that knowledge to proactively review and enhance business processes. This position is also responsible for training staff across the Office of Financial Aid about topics relevant to aid verification and eligibility. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least three years of higher education administration experience in financial aid, student finance, or related area. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted. |

Additional Information | The successful candidate must be eligible to administer Title IV student aid. Remote Work Notice Following successful completion of an initial training period, a hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval. Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be cancelled.
