Job Summary | Seeking a dedicated Library Assistant IV to lead departmental training, manage student hiring and onboarding within Access Services, and support the daily operations of our public service desks. The Trainer & Student Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining smooth and effective library services, with primary responsibility for supervising all student workers during their assigned shifts. This position staffs the supervisor desk at designated times and oversees both staff members and student workers stationed at the service desks during those periods. They also serve as the supervisor in charge on Saturdays and work closely with the daytime manager and department head to coordinate student worker scheduling each semester. |
Minimum Education and Experience | High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a library setting; or any comparable combination of education, supervisory training or experience, and practical experience may be considered. |
