Job Summary | The Associate Provost for Curricular Services is a full-time, twelve-month appointment responsible for working with deans, department heads, and faculty on the development and shared governance approval process of new degree programs, academic and professional (non-credit) certificates, digital badging and vendor-supplied third-party course content. The Associate Provost will facilitate external approvals and serve as the liaison to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and to The University of Texas System’s Office of Academic Affairs on new academic offerings. The Associate Provost will supervise four FTE and will attend all meetings of the UT Dallas academic governance system. In addition, the Associate Provost will have responsibility for oversight of the student course feedback policy in partnership with the Committee on Effective Teaching. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Master’s degree. 5 years higher education work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. |
