Job Summary | The Assistant Director oversees the Comets CARE (coaching, awareness, referrals, and engagement) peer education program. This position is responsible for managing and advancing student-focused wellness initiatives, including peer coaching and education programs. The major priority of this role is to elevate student-focused wellness initiatives through supervising peer educators, event coordination, and student support services, with an emphasis on utilizing evidence-based and theory driven health promotion and student development models. |
Minimum Education and Experience | - Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. – Minimum of 3 years in Health education developing and providing programming.- Equivalent education and/or experience in other health or wellness fields will be considered. |

Additional Information | Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
